Brazil's President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva on Tuesday signed a new law increasing jail time for pedophiliac crimes as a new measure to fight child sexual abuse in the South American country. Under the new law, imprisonment for pedophilia will extend from the previous two to six years to four to eight years. It will be applied to those who produce, photograph, record or register sexual or pornographic images of both children and adolescents, as well as to those who recruit child ...
